The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change of the Southwest State of Somalia (MOECC-SWS) serves as the principal governmental body responsible for safeguarding the region’s natural resources. Established to lead the state’s environmental and climate change efforts, the Ministry plays a crucial role in addressing the pressing environmental challenges that face Southwest Somalia today.
